YOGA AND MEDITATION CLASSES

Stagnant water is not how it should be, and nor should we let stagnation settle into our lives. Water flows, constantly moves, however slowly, finding its way round obstacles and through rocks, wearing smooth stones and wood, feeding, providing shelter, in harmony with the ecosystem. It’s a living, breathing force of nature, dynamic. And so are we designed to be.

Change does not happen standing still. Change happens when we are in flow with ourselves and with what we are doing, when we let go, when we let things happen. Change is a shifting state which we can only activate by moving, by being a dynamic, living, breathing force of nature too. Yoga (and as part of that practice: breathwork and meditation) helps us to keep moving and to create that flow state so that almost imperceptibly, we start to shift, to transform, from the inside out. And that’s how we change the world together, by changing ourselves, one at a time.

I hold online and in person yoga and meditation classes, group or individual, suitable for all levels. My approach is to blend Iyengar hatha and vinyasa flow, with a focus on alignment and breath, and always adapting to each person’s capabilities and flexibility. In my classes you can expect to build strength, develop internal balance and become more aware of your energy.

For those of you wanting to start a regular meditation practice, I offer 1:1 sessions to guide you through various techniques and also hold a 30 minute online meditation space every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 13:45, which is payment by donation. I also offer guided meditations and Yoga Nidra.

Yoga is about reconciling paradoxes and in my classes you can expect to develop internal and external balance, build physical and mental strength, and become more aware of your energy and inner peace.

All my classes can be in English, Portuguese and basic French!
My training is Yoga Alliance Certified.
