From Me to you

For the year ahead I ask of you only this:

Paint it in colours bright and bold,

Outline every crack in gold,

Fill it with laughter, free and loud, 

See the sun shining behind every cloud.

Remember to live,

Forget yourself in love. 

We are all here together,

We are meant to help each other.

Shine bright, you are born to shine.

And if you need to rest awhile, that‘s fine.

Life is about give and take,

And being honest, not fake.

Listen more, speak less. 

Find a way to express

Your creativity.

You can’t help others on empty:

Take good care of yourself,

Learn to heed your inner self. 

Be happy, or at least, be free.

Just be,

You are great just as you are.

Always look for the shooting star

And be thankful for nature’s daily gifts.
